Blogroll Category?

    yes there are two default categories since wp 2.1

    blogroll is the name of the default *link* category
    and uncategorized is the name of the default *post* category

    This is silly. I don’t like it one bit. But thanks for the info.

    its funny in my case i have “u/l files” instead of “uncategorized”.

    anyway loudestnoise could “un-default” a category by using ADMIN functionality options=>writing=>”default bookmark cat.” and/or “default post cat.”

    in worst case a record can be removed from the database wp-categories of course on your own peril.
