    Hey there!

We were using the plugin “Allow PHP in Posts and Pages” but it wasn’t compatible with WPML so we switched to this one.

Wonderful thing is that, indeed, it is compatible with WPML and the PHP code output is perfect.

However, it’s quite the only thing that works since the entire rest of our page is broken because it’s built with Visual Composer. I think it might be related to the extensive use of shortcodes.

    See for yourself
    http://musicethic.staging.wpengine.com/ (with insert_php)
http://musicethic.staging.wpengine.com/fr/ (without insert_php, translated, break the page as well when adding insert_php)

Would you have a quick fix for this? Because that would be awesome 🙂

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Best regards,

  • Yes, it seems Visual Composer does break the Insert PHP shortcode.

Here’s another thread related to Visual Composer:

Perhaps Antonio’s solution would work for you.

    Hi Will,

Thank you for your reply. I will try this “Don’t break the code” plugin, however I hope this to be a temporary solution as it’s easy to add tons of plugins and end up with a cluttered platform.

The previous plugin we used to output PHP code in posts or page worked fine with Visual Composer, it was the issue with translations that got our attention into your plugin, but I guess nothing is ever really perfect 😉

If you have the intention to dive into the issue that would be wonderful, if not I would completely understand, but I’ll try to find a solution in order not to use two plugins where only one could be used.

    Thank you once again.

    Best regards,

BBC, I wish I had time to look into it right away.

What I want to do is figure out a way to use a delimiter other than square brackets, which might make the Visual Composer issues go away. But not now. Too many customer projects need my attention.
