Change how default search works

Hi,

I am using WooCommerce plugin and because the normal search proivided by WP does not search in „products”, I had to install a 3rd party search.

The new search does the trick, but comes only with an ugly widget. Is there a way I can change the way the default search works, to use the „functiones” of the new plugin search ?
