• This string repeats at the beginning of submitted posts anywhere from 6-??? times:

    Warning: mb_strstr() [function.mb-strstr]: Empty haystack in /home/brigshu6/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 35.

    It’s happening intermitently on my front/blog page and the about page.

    Currently runnign up-to-date wordpress and cutline theme.

  • I got the same error when pulling up my Contacts page.
    I am using WP2.1 and the contact plugin from douglass karr
    The error was continually listed down the page, over and over again

    although I haven’t tried it yet. Apparently it is a PHP bug, fixed in the next release, but in the meantime, you just disable warnings….

    This same thing has been happening to me sporadically since I launched my blog a month or so ago. I followed the adviced at betis.com, in the post from alternateroute to turn off messaging in functions-formatting.php, and so far so good.
