footer width homepage

    Hello I need help trying to work this out,

    I have put the footer width at 100% in the css and moved the file in the footer.php outside of the container… now this has worked on only a few pages apart from
    – homepage
    -contact page
    I can see in inspect element these are still within the container and I cant work out why?

    Can anyone save me??

    Your footer is still inside of #container which has a max-width. Check that they are using the same template file.

    Hi Craig thanks for the quick response,

    I understand the footer is still within the #container

    but I can only locate this in footer.php,
    where I have taken the div outside the container

    Hard to diagnose without knowing the structure of your template files. Are both of those pages using the same template file? Are there any kind of theme options manipulating the footer?

    Hi Craig sorry I should of explained more,

    Im using the responsive theme there seems to be no option to adjust the footer.

    how else can i check where the footer is being read from?
