I’ve used Camino, Firefox and Safari… no issues
Delete your cache files for Safari. It keeps trying to log you in under some password you have set in cache.
Once you do this you should be good to go.
It is a bit much to headline with Word Press lacks support etc. You could always upgrade to a better browser. Or a proper computer 😉

Yeah Root, you shouldn’t go showing your enormous stupidity to the newbies like that.
I use all the major browsers on Mac OS X 10.3.3 Panther and never have a problem.
You might want to blow away your cache in all your browsers, and see if that helps.
All you have to do is delete the COOKIES for your WP site – not the cache.
I had some similar problems and they were gone immediately…
