Iconic One Theme Updates

Hi,
Is there any way to learn about an upcoming update to Iconic One? I’m asking because I have several styles set in the custom.css and these styles will be overwritten during each update, and I’ll need to copy and paste them again on the custom.css area. I’m thinking there must be a way to prepare for this so that the website doesn’t look bad when the custom styles are overwritten by the update. I appreciate any advice on this.
