• Though i am satisfied using 3 column anaconda theme for my blog, http://www.medinmark.com/blog/, but, I intend to write one line, on top of a category-page & below the header. I do not want this one line to work/move as a post in my blog. I require this line to remain on the top, describing the implications of the contents/posts to follow.

Kindly someone tell me, if it is possible? And if it is possible, please also explain, how to go about it.

    I shall be grateful.

  • Everything is in the online manual of WP, the Codex:

Maybe, instead of posting a new question every 15 minutes or so… you should take some time to read about the tool you ar using (WP).

    For your question above see:
    Conditional Tags and/or
    Category Templates

Dear Moshu, thanks would be an understatement for all the help you done for me. I may sound rediculous, & my questions may sound silly to you, but you are unaware of the fact that I am completely out of sorts, when it comes to web development & design. I have no prior experience & no knowledge in this field.
I have also tried to read the online script provided by wordpress, but, it was too vast and complex for me to comprehend properly. Moreover the technical terminology used, is also foreign to me. Therefore I am posting such frequent questions.
Nevertheless, I appreciate your perspective and honesty in expression. Your guidelines are very valuable for me, as they are guiding me about the subjects to be read to meet my needs.
I shall try and stick with them.
    Thanks
