great plug in and so so necessary.
i tried to do this myself, but i’m no javascript wiz and i’m sure i’m missing something.
my site is for poets – who make use of the single line break in Word frequently.
is there a simple way to add the code necessary to make w:br print a ‘</br>’ ?

Thanks for the feedback! At the moment, Mammoth doesn’t handle single line breaks, but I’ll look into adding support. Do you have an example file just to make sure I’m implementing the right feature? It can just be a file with two words separated by a single line break if you don’t want to share anything private.

I’ve added support for line breaks to the underlying JavaScript library. Could you try using the converter on the page below, and let me know if it works as you’d expect?

    yes! it is working perfectly!
that was amazingly prompt, thanks so much.

just some background: the WordPress editor can be really difficult for self-publishing poets because poems often make specific use of spacing, etc. so, especially with this new adaptation, your plugin will be very helpful to them in particular. Especially since so many use word.

Great, I’ve just uploaded an updated version of the WordPress plugin. Feel free to shout if there are any issues.
