I installed TinyMCE Advanced mainly to be able to use the anchor feature. I can place an anchor and my understanding is that when I want to link to it from another part of my website I am supposed to highlight something and click on the hyperlink button and it should be in there to create the link to it.

Well I have tried it several times and nothing??? Is it not compatible with the latest WP? Or am I missing something? Thanks.

Since nobody answered I will answer myself! I figured out that when you place an anchor and name it the name will not show up as an option in the normal linking process, so what you need to do is this:

Example: create an anchor we will name it “linky”. After that when you link use the url to the page you want to link to and insert the anchor name on the end like this: http://www.example.com/#linky

    Wala it works!
