Stats re. hits / visits

    Hello all.
    Does anybody know how to get this thing to display the number of hits / visits to websites? Earlier, somebody was kind enough to suggest a webpage, but it had since been taken down. I’ve tried my dashboard’s screen options but it doesn’t have a stats box to click.
    Or, doing it the old-fashioned way, does anybody have an 800 phone number / help line for WordPress?
