Categorize idividual images?

    Is it possible to categorize individual images in your post. And then create a page that displays all the images that are in a category? For example any image I have that has an animal in it i can label it animal on my editor and then create a page that displays nothing but pictures labeled animals? I realize you can create page that display post but for my purposes I need to do it this way. Is it possible?
