Can't edit static homepage

    I installed the Siren theme and I cannot add or remove any content on my static home page. It will only allow posts instead of design and content.

    Seems that you eant to have a PAGE as your homepage.
    Create this page first (or something that is good enough for the moment). Then from DASHBOARD > Settings > Reading, select you homepage as STATIC and PAGE and choose the one you want.

    Actually I already have 18 pages, a hierarchical structure and menu. I have customized the the theme and chose home as the static homepage and did it under “reading” too. The static page follows a different layout than the others.
    I’ve even reinstalled the theme.

    I may wipe out WP entirely and do a fresh install if I can’t get this resolved today.
