Right when I post it, however, facebook doesn’t grab both the image and the excerpt.
Is there a delay when facebook’s cache gets updated?
It works when I use the debugger, but the result seen in my screenshot happens right after I post.
Any suggestions as to why this happens?
The plugin appears to be running fine and I can’t reproduce the issue. You might want to try using a different browser, post/page URL, etc.

Hello, I’ve looked through the FAQ and support forum and this thread is the closest match I can find.
I have a site with NGFB plugin installed, it was working great for me until early this week. After I updated the plugin no images would show on my facebook page when I try to paste the link of the post on my facebook page.
Before the update, when I paste the link of my post on facebook, and excerpt and big image would show. After the update I only get the title of the post.
This is one of the links that doesn’t work since the update:

I tried the facebook debugger and it doesn’t seem to show any og:image or excerpt. Do you know what I can do to fix this?

BUT for some reason, your website is only providing the head section to the Facebook crawler. Click on the “See exactly what our scraper sees for your URL” at the bottom of the page, for example:

Considering the page ends right after some “ecwid” CSS, this plugin may be responsible. Try disabling one plugin at a time and click the “Fetch new scrape information” until the Facebook debugger is able to read the meta tags, then you’ll know which plugin is at fault. 😉
