WordPress theme vs buddypress theme

    hello,

    I dont understand one thing about themes. When I install wordpress I get a theme for the wordpress as a whole. When I install bussypress, there are buddypress themes. What they mean? Does a wordpress theme has/show all the functionalities has a standard wordpress theme? What is the difference between both?
