Exclude Categories not working

I am running the latest version of Revive Old posts and I can’t seem to exclude more than 10 posts. I ticked the boxes off on one page of posts and then did the same for the next page. However, when I went back later, the first group of posts that I excluded were not highlighted in orange and the list at the top only listed the second group of id #s
