Meta Description – Not Showing Ellipsis

    When I use %%excerpt%% in Titles & Meta > Post Types > Meta Description Template, I get a description, but rather than putting ellipsis after the cutoff, the text just ends and abruptly gets cut off.

    If I remove %%excerpt%% from that field, I get a warning that I have no meta description, but for social sharing (Facebook) the go:description is nice and neat with ellipsis.

    I am curious why this is the case. I would rather not have an abrupt description cut off.

    Any helps would be greatly appreciated.
