uploading large files through WP?

    i want to enable uploading large files through the WP ‘write post’ page. like files up to 200 MB. i tried doing this, but got an error message. is there a plugin or something i need before I can do this?

    WP doesn’t really care how big the files are.

    But your host probably does and has settings for PHP to set limits. Check php.ini if you have access to it.

    How cool would it be if there was a plugin that would act like a web based FTP program build within word press.

    So when you are using podpress you could upload your file right from the post screen.

    This idea makes me want to increase my programming knowledge.
