WordPress lightbox still enabled

WordPress doesn’t have a native lightbox. Your other lightbox functionality must be coming from the theme or another plugin.

You’re right its old school but WordPress keeps it there.

The fact is that I came over a plugin that makes use of it.

This plugin has on its code rel=”thickbox” which triggers WP builtin lightbox.

I can disable from the plugin the rel attribute, but can’t make Responsive Lightbox display these plugin’s images.
