Header and Menu overlapping/cutoff

Hi, I created a custom header for the Evolve Theme, (1200x170px) and the menu keeps cutting off my header. When I crop the header, it keeps cutting off the bottom. Please, does anyone have any advice?
I’m a beginner in WordPress, so please speak simply.
