slider won't slide anymore

    First of all, I’m not a programmer.
    I use a theme (Multimedia by iamthemes) which includes OptionTree. Until WP 3.8 or so the slider on the start page worked properly, but then with some update it only shows the first of several sliders. There is no sliding anymore, and where there used to be indicator dots in the lower left corner there isn’t anything anymore.

    Do I have to use a new code in my index.php to embed the OptionTree slider properly or what else might be the conflict?
