500 Internal Server Error
-
Hello,
Could anybody help me with advice what to do to get my site back on track? I have tried all suggestions which I found in other Topics, but nothing helps. Even with buck-up from beginning of this week, I am not able to solve it.
I will appreciate any help!Thanks,
Madara

I’ll take a shot at it. Can you post some information about your issue? Maybe a URL so I can check the site out to see what’s happening?
I can admit that before 3 h everything was still working great. And today there were no new updates that could conflict between each other or with theme and cause this issue..
Oh, well the answer is pretty simple.
500 errors mean that something went haywire on the server where your files are hosted. What exactly went wrong? Well, it could be lots of things, none of which are pertinent. The important thing is that it is the responsibility of those who maintain those servers to fix their hardware. Once they do, the site will come up again functioning just as it did before the error started.
I recommend attempting to log into your account with your hosting provider, and file a support ticket stating exactly what you told us here. Let them know the URL to your site, and ask them when they expect to have the issue fixed. Again, this wasn’t your fault, so don’t let them tell you it was.
I wish you well. These things happen routinely, even with the much bigger providers, but the hosting providers usually have a lightning-quick turnaround when it comes to fixing downed servers, so i’d encourage calmness and optimism.
Thank you so much for explanation. Now i feel a little bit better. As I could not understand what I did wrong and it would be terrible to lose all work I have put to create this site.
I contacted my host provider and they think that it is a conflict between WordPress and some plugin.. Now I have to wait when they will check what else besides back-up (what doesn’t work) could solve the problem.
But I will keep in mind your words! Can it be some WordPress security issue?
Let me guess–you’re hosted with godaddy.com?
Do you have FTP access to your wordpress installation?
No, another!.. Do they usually have these excuses?
They say that all sites are on one server, if something would be wrong with it, than all sites would be broken down..Yes, I do have FTP access. But I would not like to post it here.
I’m not asking you to.
Can you post a list of the plugins you have installed?
Yes, sure! But part was not activated..
Pleas find the list below:1. akismet 2. black-studio-tinymce-widget 3. calculated-fields-form 4. contact-form-plugin 5. google-analytics-for-wordpress 6. google-sitemap-generator 7. insert-headers-and-footers 8. installer 9. knews 10. mailchimp-for-wp 11. nice-login-register-widget 12. oa-social-login 13. orbisius-child-theme-creator 14. shortcodes-ultimate 15. sitepress-multilingual-cms 16. smart-manager-for-wp-e-commerce 17. ultimate-coming-soon-page 18. user-access-manager 19. virtue-toolkit 20. woocommerce 21. woocommerce-apg-weight-and-postcodestatecountry-shipping 22. woocommerce-checkout-manager 23. woocommerce-delivery-notes 24. woocommerce-google-analytics-integration 25. woocommerce-multilingual 26. woocommerce-poor-guys-swiss-knife 27. woocommerce-rich-guys-swiss-knife 28. wordpress-importer 29. wp-mail-smtp 30. wp-members 31. wp-optimize 32. wp-statistics 33. wpml-media 34. wpml-string-translation 35. wpml-translation-managementTry checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Now something starts to work, but I don’t know yet if they did something or not.
I am waiting for some updated what they did or what they didn’t.
Now I have all plugins disabled and “small” mess in the site. And I am wondering what I can do to avoid this in future. For most, i’d say plugin conflicts are impossible to avoid. You just take steps to deal with them when they happen.
