A URL request made by Contact Form 7 with this in the URL:

?_wpcf7_is_ajax_call=1&_wpcf7=227&_wpcf7_request_ver=

is taking over 3 seconds to run, significantly slowing down loading of my whole site. Slower than the other 50 requests combined :/

What is this request for? How can I fix this?

Please include a link to your Contact Form 7 form. If others here are able to understand your actual problem, they may be able and willing to offer a possible solution.

When I google searched for this problem, I saw 1 other reports of it also, but it wasn’t answered.

I figured out that this script is just for re-filling the form captcha/quiz which I am not using so I just hacked the plugin to remove the call completely. So my problem is solved.
