• Hello, according to my webhost, my WordPress site was the target of brute force login attempts, and that hackers were trying to crack my password for my WordPress admin panel.

As a security measure, my webhost took steps to protect my site in the form of blocking code on my WordPress login page via .htaccess file to combat the brute force login attack, which they said commonly happens with the WordPress script.

I do not want the blocking code and my webhost said they could remove it, but I would need to implement other security features to combat the brute force login attacks. They recommended I ask on the WordPress forums for suggestions on plugins to install, so here I am 🙂 . Thanks.
