Hi szopja, thank you for use YASR.
In next version will be possible in settings page to show or hide overall rating in homepage and category/archive pages, just keep in touch, I hope to release next version in 24 hours

I updated the plugin. It works! Thank You for help!
I’ve just updated to the new version and I’m still seeing this issue. I create a page, assign it as the static front page, and turn off the option – “Show overall rating in Home Page?”
Any ideas?

This is strange. Can you please post a link to your site and a screen shoot of your options?
same here. I think, there should be an option to enable votings only on posts and not on pages. In most cases people don’t want votings on pages like contact, about us, etc…

@joshuajon: That option is for “Overall Rating”, what you got in the index is the “visitor votes”. That appear beacuse you use a static page instead that the default one.

New version is out…simply select “yes” in new option “exclude pages”
Wow, thanks so much. When I turn on this option it does seem to hide the rating on my static page, but it doesn’t seem to get auto-inserted onto posts anymore :-\ Am I missing something?
