Ongoing Problem: Unable to Update After Changes

Constant problem. I can make certain changes to my site, ie bolding copy, however if I try to change the color of a few words, the Update button spins and spins and never completes and doesn’t make the change. I’ve been told repeatedly to disable all plugins, however I need the plugins to make changes. Nevertheless, I’ve disable all except the Fonts plugin so I could change the text color, but Update still never completes…. This is very frustrating!
