When did you register this domain name? It can take up to 72 hours for a domain name to fully propagate and be ready to use.
kind thought that,, been about 5 hrs ago, seems I heard somewhere could be instant or maybe 4 hrs,. i’ll see what happens but frustrated
Oh, next week getting a new pc so I should download WP on it with no problem being there wont be any screw ups till later.

got my domain with HG, you mean like use some of those other ones like weebly or those similar? I’ve seen them around also. Figured WP was the best. Was just thinking which is a rare event. altho I can come up with simple HTML pages that will look ok,. If I remember you can incorporate HTML into pages of WP. I think that would invest more of time would want,. and of course there would be plenty of brain farts to put me in a snag or sumthin. was just curious to do something can end up with my domain name.
More I think about it the word nevermind is the word 🙂

You won’t find WordPress on your PC, it’s not an application you install there. 🙂
WordPress is only installed on your hosting provider, and you access it via your browser.
yhx james, was curious as hell,. I’ve seen some files on the pc and not sure what was up with that,. I also wonder say with quickinstall when you get ready to dl part would be like this,.

I did go thru a lot of info both in forums and pages like you said and even more. some was so far above intelligence to even want to try. used quickinstall, fantastico, or whatever or five minute download,. some no way hear wanna try outta fear,.
some zip files along the way and unzipped and all that jazz, basically going blindly,. which may not have helped,. link you provided went over several times before,. and I thought I was downloading the thing properly,.
as said did something wrong from last time, even tried uninstall and restall,. frustrated,. got stuff set up to work on WP

I’m getting “Oops! Google Chrome could not find http://www.glannster.com,” and there’s no record of a glannster.com in the WHOIS database.

Right, so you need to register that domain then, it doesn’t exist. You mentioned above that you “had a canceled domain.com,” I assume that was glannster.com. Did you ever re-register it?
oh and yes went to the databases,. believe did that correctly,. hell I don’t know
no glannster was the new name. let me look around to see where re register, kinda forget where it was
Ok, because glannster.com is not a registered domain name. If you want to use glannster.com, you need to purchase it through a registrar.
