    Hi, thanks very much for this free theme. I am currently trying to implement the featured posts slider and need some help.

    Edit: I found the solution you posted for autoplay in another thread and have implemented it. I still need help with the second issue below. Thanks.

    Secondly, I would like the slider to ignore any posts which do not have a featured image.

    Could you help me please with these two issues?

    Hi,
    first issue solved, right?
    Showing post preview for posts without featured image:
    Appearance->Theme Options->Blog->Thumbnail Placeholder – set it of “off”.
    This is generally for posts, you mention slider, but on your website I see only 1 image in slider (no sliding), so suppose you meant posts (I see you have some without featured image on your website).

    Hi, I turned the slider off for now that’s why you only saw one image. 🙂 Not sure if I’m going to use the slider for now but would still be interested in knowing if theres a way to make it skip over any posts without a featured image 🙂

    Do as I suggested above, turn the slider on for short time, see what happens, and let me know.
    Also explain: featured slider has limited no. of posts, I suppose -why you don’t put featured image for each of them? What do you mean by “slider to ignore them”? It cannot ignore posts that are in featured category – impossible!
    So, see what happens, and be more precise in next reply.

    Hi, I was not using the featured category, I was just using it to display the most recent posts. What I wanted was for it to skip or ignore posts without a “featured image”. Maybe this is not possible.

    Anyways it is not a big deal 🙂 thanks for taking time out to reply.

    You’re welcome, glad if I helped a bit to clarify issue.
    IMHO, featured slider in Hueman is made to “point out” important parts of website – like your main post categories and similar – latest posts are on “classic” blog page on top by default.
