    I am integrating WP to my website per instructions below:

    Integrating WP to website

    I have created a child theme, actually just copied twentyfourteen for now. The theme shows on the Theme panel I activate it and it confirms activation.

    But my page renders without any style. The one post I have on is shown ‘naked’.

    The setup on my page:
    on top: require('./wp/wp-blog-header.php');

    on the content portion:

    <div id="main-content" class="main-content">

    <?php
    	if ( is_front_page() && twentyfourteen_has_featured_posts() ) {
    		// Include the featured content template.
    		get_template_part( 'featured-content' );

                                }
    ?>

    	<div id="primary" class="content-area">
    		<div id="content" class="site-content" role="main">

    		<?php
    			if ( have_posts() ) :
    				// Start the Loop.
    				while ( have_posts() ) : the_post();

    					/*
    					 * Include the post format-specific template for the content. If you want to
    					 * use this in a child theme, then include a file called called content-___.php
    					 * (where ___ is the post format) and that will be used instead.
    					 */
    					get_template_part( 'content', get_post_format() );

    				endwhile;
    				// Previous/next post navigation.
    				twentyfourteen_paging_nav();

    			else :
    				// If no content, include the "No posts found" template.
    				get_template_part( 'content', 'none' );

    			endif;
    		?>

    		</div><!-- #content -->
    	</div><!-- #primary -->
    	<?php get_sidebar( 'content' ); ?>
    </div><!-- #main-content -->

  • Can you share a link to your website or is it localhost for now?
    Using browser inspect mode look in the html <head> element for
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="******style.css">
    verify that the href from this html element is correct and accesible.

    Thanks jnhghy.

    You are absolutely right. That was the problem.

    I was led to believe that activating the theme would have WP load whatever was necessary for the set up.

    Then I overlooked the basic step of including the link tag.

    Much appreciated.
