    Hi. First of all, I want to thank the developer, Digonto Ahsan, for his quick response and interest in solving the problems with the 2.0 version of the plugin.

    I can now confirm that version 2.1.1 is working again. There are good improvements from the old version, like the option for setting personal labels for every slider, the pager controls, thumbnails for pagers and other options.

    I do not quite understand the usage of “Offset (optional)” in the Select Post paragraph, neither the “Slide margin”: I seem no difference, whatever the numbers entered in this box.

    And finally, I really miss the option for adjusting the padding of the slider for every border, like the old version had. I put this slider in the main page of my blog and now I can’t adjust the space between left border (menu area) and the slider itself. With version 1.2.1, when I set the padding to separate both elements it looked great. Any help for this?

    Hi,Offset is for pass over some post. Check this link

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Pagination_Parameters

    and Slide margin is great if you are using carousel or ticker. Both are working and well tested. Shortly there will be demos and tutorial at my site then it will be more clear.

    I got you padding issue and will consider to add option for it. For now you can use this CSS

    #container1{ margin-left:30px;}

    Thanks, Digonto. The code works great and fixed my issue for the moment, although it would be nice seeing this option added in settings menu to avoid edit the css files and lose the changes after any update. Anyway, thank you very much for the solution.

    About Offset, it’s a bit confusing to me having another option to “Exclude” posts.

    And only as an information note, there seems to be some conflict with another plugin I had previously installed (advps is the latest I’ve installed), because when advps plugin is activated, I can’t access the “plugin editor” page (plugin-editor.php) from my WP desktop. I mean that the page don’t show any of my plugins, not only advps, so I can’t edit anything (I had to gain access via FTP). But when I deactivate advps, everything works again. Of course, I know that’s not a fault of advps, but a common issue with plugins. I’ll try deactivating other plugins and see what happens.

    Best regards.

    If you able to find out the reason for the conflicting issue please share, that will be helpful for all and I will also look for the issue.

    Hi. Based on the tests I’ve performed, there seems to be four of my plugins somehow related to this issue. These plugins are: “Advanced post slider”, “Clean and Simple Contact Form”, “Email Subscribers” and “Smooth Slider”. When all of them are activated, can’t access the plugin editor from WP desktop (plugin-editor.php). When I disable any of them (I mean, one disabled, the other three activated), the page works again.

    For now, I’ll let the “Smooth Slider” plugin disabled. After all, I’m testing advps for my homepage and it looks good right now, but it’s an annoying issue thinking in future installations.

    And other comment, if you don’t mind. I’ve noticed a missing feature in the latest version: the option to show pre/next controls (arrows) only when mouse hover. That’s not a critical issue, but it’s a feature that was present in older versions and would be an interesting addition in future versions.

    Best regards.
