I am experiencing the same problem with one of the sites I manage: johnlatourart.com
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Same issue here – for quite a couple of sites I am maintaining. Appears to be a general problem of BackUpWordPress, as it happens on sizes with different sizes, different hostsers, different set-up.
Would be great to get this issue solved, otherwise I am afraid I can’t rely on BackUpWordpress any longer 🙁
As a follow-up to my earlier email, I was in communication with a representative from the plug-in designers, who thought the problem was linked to the size of my site (1 GB). After a few unsuccessful attempts to work around the problem, I decided to perform manual backups for my site (see: http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Backup_Website_Manually). It’s a time-consuming process, but it works.
Hey Guys,
Sorry no one has got back to you on the forums, my fault really.
So in many cases we find users who are on low-cost shares hosting setups, with a larger site size (1GB would fall into this category) will run into trouble when trying to complete a backup due to limited server resources or PHP processes being killed.
One thing we recommend doing is to exclude a portion of your uploads directory an see if that enables you to complete a backup. Or perhaps to just exclude your entire uploads directory to ensure backups are able to be created. If so you can start including your uploads directory between several backup schedules.
I recommend anyone getting in touch with us through our support channel for more information and help: https://bwp.hmn.md/support-center/enable-support/
Cheers!
