If you are a GoDaddy subscriber (among other issues you may notice) this may help to sort out the current issue you are experiencing:

    1) Create a new file in their document root called php5.ini, which would be in the following format: /home/content/[server_id]/[customer_id]/html/
    2) Use the contents from the file I’ve attached for the php5.ini file created above
    3) Login to the hosting control panel, and go to System Processes and click “End Web”. Wait 30-40 seconds. You should now be able to open the “Insert Gallery Window” using default permalinks on Linux GoDaddy Hosting.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
