Sidebar on custom taxonomy

Hi, I have a custom post type with custom taxonomy.
All the categories have a parent category, so what I’m trying to do is a function that asign the sidebar of the parent category to all it’s children categories, beacuse I have too many children categories and it would be a little slow to asign one sidebar to each one.

It is possible to do that?
