    So far, the plugin is great. I’ve created the custom template and I have several custom fields displaying. I now wish to sort this information (faceted search). Here’s the problem (and, I’m not an expert in this field, so please bear with me.)

    I’m using the “Taxonomies Filter Widget” plugin which filters categories, tags and taxonomies and “numerical custom fields”. However, this search plugin is only seeing the categories and tags. From their instructions it says to register my taxonomies. Is that not happening automatically when I create my custom fields?

    I found the forum thread you replied to on the Simple Taxonomy plugin. That seems to have done the trick for me. So, unless you can recommend something else to do here, I think this issue is resolved.
