  • Dang, I can’t pull them up in IE7. Hold on…

Take a look for blank space at teh end of wp-rss2.php after the final ?>. That’s based on teh error that I get.

Can’t see any whitespace at the end…

Is it worth rebuilding the database from a backup from when it all was working? If so which tables?

    Database? Not yet.

Have you disabled plugins and tried the feed?

Have you replaced your modified file with a default one to see if the feed comes back?

Just for reference, I’m getting the following when I pull up:

    http://www.strikingshots.com/blog/feed/

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/striking/public_html/blog/index.php:6) in /home/striking/public_html/blog/wp-rss2.php on line 8

That’s why i was thinking whitespace.

    Hope this helps,

OK, it seems like it is something in my index.php file which is causing the problem….

I just need to figure out what..

Thanks for the help so far…

There’s a FAQ on the subject you may want to read.

Says actually it’s the first file that is causing the error with white space. It’s been a long day and I thought it was teh second file. Sorry about that.

Right, I’ll be honest, I’m not entirely sure what the problem was, but moving the piece of php which calls the header to the very top of index.php seems to hae solved it. Unfortunately my feedburner plugin now seems to have stopped re-directing, but that is a minor concern.

    Many thanks everyone…

    Paul
