User Filter Calendar for Category

I’m using the Evants Manager Calendar shortcode to display a calendar on a single page on our website – I have events that fall under multiple categories – and was wondering if there was a way to allow people to select which categories are available on the calendar – either through some sort of Ajax – or whatever.

The Search function for the Events List would be great, if I could get it to spit out a calendar instead of the list.
