Customizr & Bootstrap 3?

    From working with the theme, my guess is that it uses some version of bootstrap 2.

    Any estimates when Customizr might be upgraded to Bootstrap 3?

    I’m not trying to rush anyone or be nosey. I was trying to make plans for our site.

    We have Customizr installed on some sites of our multisite, but not on all. To continue installing theme will require a lot of bootstrap coding (columns, etc) for some of our pages.

    If a bootstrap update was coming soon, I thought it would make sense to wait on installing Customizr to avoid having to code 2x. If it’s not for a while or ever, then I thought it would be good to code away.

    Bootstrap 3 is much different from previous versions and requires a lot of updates for site owners.

    Sorry if I asked a too personal of a question. Thanks for any insights.

    The theme uses bS 2.3.2. Upgrading to bS 3+ has been discussed more than once. While @nikeo is the only one who can give you an official answer in this matter, upgrading bS is not as easy as upgrading WP or a WP theme and might require a lot of core changes in the theme.

    I’m no expert in building themes, but from my knowledge it would be easier to build a brand new theme (Czr+bS3), different from Customizr, than upgrading bS for the current theme. However, I have seen coding wonders from Nicolas and having bS3 on Customizr is not out of the question, unless he says he won’t do it.

    We are aware that bS 2.3.2 limits the use of this theme together with WP plugins that use bS 3+ libraries and we consider it a pretty big issue.

    acub – thank you for the reply. I can only imagine how huge of a project upgrading to Bootstrap 3 could be for Nicolas or other developers. I was just trying to see if anyone had any ideas of a timeline, just so I can plan the development of our own site around it. I guess time will tell!

    Hi – any update on this? I have a conflict with a bS3 plugin; I really don’t want to backtrack if possible – an ETA would help me decide.
