Taxonomies in functions or plugin?

Hi,

The reason it’s recommended to extend functionality of your WordPress site via plugins instead of adding more and more code to your themes’ functions.php file is two-fold:

• The functions.php can quickly become unmanageable, and very large. This makes it hard to keep track of what’s going on in the file over time.
• If you ever change your theme, you’ll lose all of the functionality that you’ve added to the themes’ functions.php
