    Hello,
I upgraded to Subscribe2 9.2 because I was under the impression that any emails that bounced back would be removed from the list.
Is this correct or did I confuse myself?
I just deleted 34,000 returned messages from the last year from my host server. They were just hanging out there. I had to set up an email account to delete them.
I have turned off the notification but – is this a function of subscribe2? Thanks much,
    Michelle

  • @michelle,

No version of Subscribe2 handles bounced emails. For that it would need access to you server inbox with the password and loads more code to parse the bounce emails and act accordingly.

Instead, I recommend using an existing email address to send the emails. An address to which you have access and then you will be immediately aware of bounced emails because they will arrive in your inbox.
