Photos do not display when uploaded | WordPress.org

I created a gallery and uploaded 1920 x 1080 photos, which are about 2MB each. After uploading, the photos do not display at all. It’s a broken link. But if I upload these photos into word press individually into the library, the photos are fine. Am I doing something wrong? Please advise.

@djranmas – Are the file and folder permissions for your /gallery/ folder and its sub-folders properly inheriting their permissions from the /wp-content/ folder?

Folders should be a minimum equivalent of 0755 and files should be 0644.
