Site Title and Header Image

    I would like to remove the Box in the middle of the header image area that says the site title. When I make this box invisible in the CSS, the header image then skews incorrectly (the image shifts up, cutting off the top). When I remove the site title entirely from the Settings > General section, the header image again skews incorrectly. Is there a way to resolve?
