    Hello,

In the past my website got hacked several times, mostly via SQL injections of unsecured plugins. That’s why I used BulletProof Security because it said it protects SQL injections hacking.

I’d like to switch over from BulletProof Security to Wordfence, but I need to know if it protects from SQL injections as well.

No we don’t. It’s not possible to effectively patch every SQL injection attack and so the way to approach this is we find ways to make sure you’re not running an out of date plugin and we send out vulnerability alerts via our security list if there is a known SQL injection vulnerability. The idea of putting a band-aid over a known security vulnerability is a little absurd in my humble opinion. It’s like someone has a heart-attack and you give them aspirin instead of doing the open heart surgery that’s really necessary.

    Regards,

    Mark.
