Yes, the plugin is translation ready and has already been translated into 3 languages.
Most people use PoEdit to translate, and that is what I use to create the main English translation files.
The language files are in the /languages directory of the plugin.
Perhaps the translation plugin you are using is looking for a .pot file? If you direct it to the .po file instead (PoEdit makes the .po instead of .pot files, even though they are the same) it may work.
Otherwise, I would suggest downloading the free version of PoEdit and using that to make the translations, then you would upload the .po and .mo files for your language into the /languages directory, and it should work.
If you do come up with German and Italian translation files, please send them to me and I will be happy to include them as part of the plugin in the next release. You can contact me privately through my site to do that.
Thanks!

First of all, thank you very much for your quick answer.
I checked it, mqtranslate is pointing to the po-files.
The problem were the missing po-files for German and Italian, which were obviously not there. Sorry, I could have checked this before.
All right, in this case I am going to do the translations. I won’t be able to do it the next days, but definitely within the next weeks. As soon as it will be done I am going to forward you the respective files.
Thank you for this great plugin.

No hurry, I’m not currently working on any updates for this plugin.
I would like to add that I’m working together with a client on a Dutch version of the plugin, if you are interested, you can add that to your plugin 🙂
YES! Can always use help with translations! The current translations have not been updated for several releases now.
