    Strange …
Do you have an URL where I can test ?

Hi and thanks… Where can I sent it to you privately?

You have a feedback tab in the plugin configuration page

    Thread Starter Hairshirt

    (@hairshirt)

That don’t work… The button is faded out… Pressing send and nothing happens…

Just reinstalled the plugin… Problems with file and folder permission corrected… Still doesn’t work and I still can’t zoom images…

Should I think twice before updating this plugin in furture?

If the button is faded out, it means that you should not have complete all the required information !

Then I noted that the file and folder permission were incorrect while you have contacted me in order to have support : that is just wonderful …

It is very interesting how you reward the people who actually respond to your report : “Should I think twice before updating this plugin in furture?”

I am thus not very motivated by helping you …

Please note that updating a plugin/theme/WP should be always tested before going into production. If you don’t I am sorry but I cannot test for you on your server …

Once this said, I still need more information to help you

Regards the File and Folder Permissions: The plugin was completely removed (deleted completely) I downloaded a complete new copy of the updated plugin, uploaded it to my server, activated the plugin, went to the settings page and at the top of the screen I am presented with three permission errors 1. Readme.txt. 2. Lang folder. 3. The Core/Lang folder…

The file permission were corrected then I refreshed the screen… Your plugin still doesn’t work…

I will try again to send you the link 🙂

otherwise, you may send me an email at [mynamehereonthatforum]@[mynamehereonthatforum].fr

I receive your email … after a review of your page I assume that you have that you have a plugin for tracking links that conflict the image zoom plugin by adding a onclick option
    onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('...')

    Try deactivating this plugin …

    Thread Starter Hairshirt

    (@hairshirt)

Then could I reinstall the previous version of your pluging… I mean… If it worked before I updated it… I’ll be happy to just keep using the previous version…

    Thx, Hair…

    Plugin Author Sed Lex

    (@sedlex)

It won’t work with the previous version
but you could try http://wordpress.org/plugins/image-zoom/download/ all version there…

    I just bet it won’t work …

The problem is obviously a conflict issue

    Plugin Author Sed Lex

    (@sedlex)

    Then, does it work ?
The problem is caused by the new version ?

    Thread Starter Hairshirt

    (@hairshirt)

    No, it doesn’t work….

Very puzzling how it works perfectly right up until the point I updated it. Oh well… Guess I have to have a scout around for something that does work. Thank you for your efforts in any case…

    Plugin Author Sed Lex

    (@sedlex)

My guess is that is does not work but you didn’t notice it … Obviously you have a plugin that is designed to track the click on links that has been installed / upfdated and now conflict with the image zoom plugin …

Therefore the update is not linked to that issue

    Thread Starter Hairshirt

    (@hairshirt)

I did notice… I’m always working on this… I’m a slave to it… It worked before. A colleague noticed the problem as well, yesterday 🙂

Deleted the other, offending plugins and it still doesn’t work.
