Screen fading after thumbnail click

    I have just upgraded to the latest version and now have a problem when viewing slideshows/clicking on gallery thumbnails.

    The gallery thumbnails show OK but when I click on an image the whole screen fades to a dark grey and the image is not visible. The enlarged image is there in the background but the grey becomes to dark to see it.

    Please could you help?

    @jwsc101 – This reads like a conflict with another Lightbox effect. Have you checked you other plugins and/or you current theme?

    You might also look at turning off Lightbox Effects in NextGEN Gallery under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects … choose no Lightbox from the drop-down as a possible test as well.
