    hi,
I have developed a new WP site on the temporary url using a Themify.me template called Elemin, and transferred the domain from Panthur to Bluehost on Friday night. The website, homepage, etc., http://beyoutifulyoga.com.au/, are showing but:
    1) most images are missing (except in the 2 sections: Courses & Events and Journal)
    2) the links to the subpages are showing the 404 error: File not found.

I tried to save the permalinks on the dashboard and use velvet blues but nothing has been resolved. Bluehost added the following comment, but i don’t know what it means: ‘the url is showing correctly in phpmyadmin and on the dashboard’.

    1) with regards to the missing images: it looks like if i go into wordpress > choose a page and simply click save again (without re-uploading the image), the image now appears. this is why you can see one image on the home page: http://beyoutifulyoga.com.au/. but i’d like to find a solution so i don’t have to do that for every single image, it defeats the point of working on the temporary url before pushing live.

    2) with regards the links returning a 404 error: when I toggle over the 3 home page images located in the middle of the page and also over the links underneath them ‘read more’, i see it still shows the temporary urls, the permalinks and structure are correct.

would you be able to assist? my website is live and looks completely broken… many thanks!

so after further investigations i have noticed that all elements (img and page temp url’s) were actually updated correctly with the domain in WP (the pages address and media library elements). But the images paths and links urls were not updated within the website content. those areas of the content are actually all managed via the Themify module embedded into WP used to customize and update the Themify template. so the issue lied here. i decided to update everything manually as my site is not that big and i really needed a fix. but if this is an issue that you’ve encountered by the past i’d be interested to find out if there is a fix for it. thanks!
