Google Products Feed Plugin – Data Feed Problem

I just purchased the Google Product Feeds extension. It gave me a product data feed URL, but when I plug that into Google Merchant Center, it says that the feed URL cannot contain special characters…

Can you advise on what to do? Thanks.

Can you please verify that you are using the current Version of Jigoshop (1.9.2)and that you using the at least PHP version 5.3. Also please verify that you have properly configured the Google Product Feeds extension by watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzF-MkaTAEg

Yes, I have the latest version of WP, Jigoshop, and PHP 5.3.

In the video, you’ll see the link to the feed. If you copy and paste that into the options for Google Merchant Center, it gives an error saying it doesn’t accept special characters…

Is there another link to the feed that we can use for Google to accept the data feed?

OR, do we have to save this feed as a TXT or XML file, then upload it to Google Merchant Center feeds?

We are adding extra fix for special chars, new plugin release will be available to download on monday.

You should have notification, but if it’s not there – please check your account on jigoshop.com – new version was uploaded today

I downloaded the plugin again via My Downloads on Jigoshop.com and uploaded it to the site. I checked the settings and the URL is still the same (characters that aren’t allowed in Google Merchant Feeds…).

Well I did not see this tread early, but posting the answer just in case, per your screenshot you are entering the feed url as the feed name, this is wrong. type anything.txt as the feed name and after that you can schedule a fetch on this feed name where you can paste the feed url. see how to send feed to google if you have your feed url.
