Scan never finishes

I ran a scan manually and the scan is not completing. It’s been running upwards of 12 hours and looks to be hung on the following 2 processes:

Comparing core WordPress files against originals in repository
Scanning for known malware files

I don’t see any errors. The process just seems to be hanging and never completes.
