3.9.1 auto update erased widgets

    The new update erased most of the content on my site. Images are still there as well as pages but all the content is gone, including everything in my widgets which created most of the site.
    I have the genesis framework running on my localhost and a child theme. Any way to get all this info back?

    Hey. I had the same problem. In the admin area:
    Appearance > Widgets > Look in the bottom left corner for inactive widgets.

    I found all of the missing content there, and merely re-inserted the widgets. I hope your fix is as easy.

    Did not even think to look there!!! That is where everything I am missing is. Thanks alot for the help. Would have taken me weeks to get all that back.
