• Hi guys,
I was kust trying to find some docs on how to add extra headings to the sidebar but can’t find anything.

Basically, I have the Kubrick theme and where it says Pages, Archives, Categories and Meta along the sidebar, I would like to add about three more headers like these to display seperate pages (not posts) under.

    Would really appreciate any help!

  • Do you want to add pages or a new set of links? As far as I know if you add a page in the login area, it adds the page to the ‘pages’ section of links automatically

Well, its actually a new set of links. The problem I am having seems to be as you just described – in that if I add new headers, the pages list themselves automatically under all the different headers.

I suppose the trick is working out how to assign new pages to new headers at the time of initial publishing?

sorry, i see what you mean, yes it’s defiately a new set of links I need. But more importantly under new headers on the sidebar. So when I add a new page, I can assign it to a particular heading.

That doesn’t work in that way. You can NOT “assign” Pages where to appear.

What you can do: read the relevant info in the Codex:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_pages
learn about the parameters (hint: “exclude”!) and use the tag more than once with the proper parameters.

Ah, I see what you mean now. Excellent. Thanks Moshu
